Welcome to Peerhood. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Peerhood mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using Peerhood, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By creating an account, accessing, or using Peerhood, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.
We appreciate feedback, comments, ideas, and suggestions for improvements ("Feedback"). If you choose to submit Feedback, you agree that we are free to use it without any restriction or compensation to you.

The Services, including their design, features, and functionality, is owned by Peerhood and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Services without our express written permission.
You retain ownership of User Content you post. By posting User Content, you grant Peerhood a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Services.
Peerhood operates an invite-only system. Invite codes are provided at our discretion and may be subject to limitations. You agree not to:

PEERHOOD DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS, SCREENING, OR VERIFICATION of the identity, criminal history, health, physical condition, or other background information of its users. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, both online and in person, and you agree to exercise caution, good judgment, and common sense when communicating or meeting with others through the Services. Peerhood is not responsible or liable for the conduct, actions, omissions, or statements of any user, whether on or off the Services. Peerhood reserves the right, however, if it deems appropriate, to conduct background checks on publicly available information, and you authorize Peerhood to do so.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Some features of the Services use artificial intelligence ("AI") or machine learning technologies. Our use of AI and data sharing with AI or machine learning services is described in the Privacy Policy.
We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the Services will be available at all times or free from errors, interruptions, or defects. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services at any time with or without notice.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Some provisions of these Terms will survive termination, including those relating to intellectual property, indemnification, and limitation of liability.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Some features of the Services use artificial intelligence or machine learning technologies ("AI Features") to process, analyze, or generate content based on your input. Peerhood does not guarantee that suggestions, introductions, or other output from the Services will meet your specific expectations. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE SERVICES MAY IN SOME SITUATIONS PRODUCE OUTPUT THAT IS INACCURATE, INCORRECT, OR OTHERWISE UNDESIRABLE. You will evaluate the content and accuracy of any AI-generated output as appropriate.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEERHOOD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM USER INTERACTIONS OR IN-PERSON MEETINGS.
You agree to indemnify and hold Peerhood harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
If you access the Services through an app acquired from the Apple App Store, the following applies: Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance and support. In the event of any failure to conform to any warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your use of it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
