Peerhood ("Peerhood," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Peerhood mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

C. Contact Information
We access your device's contact list to help you invite friends to Peerhood. Here's how we handle your contact data:
- Local Access Only: Your contacts are accessed locally on your device. We do not upload or store your full contact list on our servers.
- Purpose: We use your contacts to help you identify which of your contacts are already Peerhood members and enable you to send invite messages to friends who aren't yet members.
- What We Check: We only check phone numbers from your contacts against our member database to show you which contacts already have accounts. This check happens locally on your device and only sends phone numbers (not names or other contact information) to verify membership status.
- What We Don't Do: We do not store your contact list on our servers, share your contacts with third parties, use your contacts for advertising or marketing purposes, or sell your contact data.
- Your Control: You can revoke contact access at any time through your device's Settings. If you choose not to grant contact access, you can still use Peerhood, but you won't be able to see which contacts are members or send invites through the app.
